Where Can I Find Roman Stuff?
A Little of Everything:
Hriveresse's Amazing Roman Stuff Many of these were previously listed here separately. This link is a page listing all her amazing stuff. This is hands down the best stuff you can find for your Romans. Here are some highlights: dresser that looks like a tunic, Greek Linen Table that is a functional dresser; tons of ancient weapons, shields, helmets as accessories; pyre to kill sims; microwave that looks like a bowl of grains (with recolors, bowls of different food items)
Sims2Graveyard Downloads/Tarox/Houses/Knossos and a few that start with Villa; Tarox/Model/Roman
The Isle of Catalina Sims The Roman section shows as empty until you have registered, free. It is worth it. The Roman section has clothes, houses, etc.
Neighborhood Map:
Alexander's Empire - It's Greece instead of Rome, but I haven't been able to find a map of the Roman Empire or of Italy. It's a really neat map, worth using for my Romans. Gives the feel of the Roman Empire spread far and wide.

Sunflowers
Mushrooms
Better Harvestable plants at the Star and Moon Factory. Be prepared to be amazed.
Pleasant Earth Pumpkin Patch - cloned from maxi pleasant earth, various squash available depending on how many garden badges you have, these were discovered in the Americas, reserve them for your Native Americans until America is discovered in a later era
Animals:
Simslice animals - You feed them, socialize with them, they breed, and you can eat them. Beck's (b are better but Simslice has some she doesn't make. They do not conflict if you want Beck's and Simslice's of the same animal. I recomend the horses, ducks, swans and crocodiles. Most of Beck's horses can breed but her horses can't. Simslice's horses are not rideable but Beck's are. For these reasons I use both her horses and Simslice's. Pictures and descriptions here, download here. If you don't have pets you will love the cats and dogs - but maxi does it better.
Sheep feed, socialize, breed, butcher and eat
Cattle feed, milk, socialize, breed, butcher and eat
Chickens feed, socialize, breed or eat eggs, butcher and eat
Pigs feed, socialize, breed, butcher and eat
Horses feed, socialize, ride; you can buy foals but they do not grow up, horses cannot breed; works well to also get simslice animals above
Donkeys rideable only
Camels rideable only
Better animals at the Sun and Moon Factory! Depending on the animal you can raise, slaughter and eat, sell; hunt and eat or sell, etc. Rebecah has a hand in the creation of many of these. Choose these over any of the above, think of them as replacements. There are more being created.
