If Roman vacation rule 10A happened, than finish reading this section and follow the rules on the Orient in Egyptian Era for creating and playing your Oriental Kingdom.
Other than your starting players (Roman bride and her groom) you will create the Orient in CAS. This will be 4-5 households, 1 per class. Details of creating them and rules regarding them are below.
What Class Are My Starting Players?
If your starting player fits more than 1 class, you may pick which class to place them.
If your starting player is...
Roman royalty: Emperor and Empress
Patrician: Shi
Plebian: Nong or Gong
Slave: Shang
Plantsim: Nong
Witch: Shi or Gong
IF THE ORIENT WAS CREATED DURING THE EGYPTIAN ERA:
Follow rules on the Orient in Egyptian Era.
AND create the following:
Shi (Nobility - Scholars and Warriors):
Create in CAS 1 married couple. Roll 4 times for man's aspirations, 5 times for woman's. $100,000 bonus.
Nong (Farmers, yes higher than ranks below):
Create in CAS 1 married couple. Roll 5 times for aspirations. $50,000 bonus.
Gong (Craftsman/Artisans):
Create in CAS 1 married couple. Roll 5 times for aspirations. $20,000 bonus.
Shang (Merchants who don't make goods, yes really bottom of social ladder in ancient orient, looked it up):
Create in CAS 1 married couple. Roll 5 times for aspirations. No bonus.
